Driving School Policies

Student Requirements
All students must be appropriately dressed and are required to bring their valid Learner’s License to every lesson.

Lesson & Service Fees

  • 60-minute lesson: $90 + GST (includes a minimum of 45 minutes behind the wheel)

  • 90-minute lesson: $120 + GST (includes a minimum of 75 minutes of driving time)

  • Road Test Session:

    • Option 1: Minimum 2 hours (includes a 1-hour warm-up prior to the test)

    • Option 2: 2 hours and 30 minutes (includes approximately 75 minutes of warm-up)

  • Vehicle for Road Test (No Practice Time): $120 + GST

  • Standby Vehicle (No Practice Time): $130 + GST

No passengers are permitted in the vehicle during lessons unless authorized by the instructor.

Standby Road Tests
Standby road tests follow the same fee structure as listed above. Additional waiting time beyond the first hour will be charged at $100 per hour (plus applicable taxes).

Using Your Own Vehicle
If you choose to use your own car for the road test but have the school schedule the test for you, a service fee of $100 applies.

Road Test Requirements
Students must bring two pieces of valid government-issued ID (e.g., passport, birth certificate, PR card), along with their driving license on the test day. Any outstanding lesson fees must be paid before the road test.

ICBC road test fees are separate and must be paid by the student.

  • Class 7 Test: Approx. $35

  • Class 5 Test: Approx. $50

  • Licence Issuance Fee (upon passing): Approx. $75

Note: Prices are subject to change without prior notice. All services are subject to a 5% GST charge. No refunds will be issued for completed lessons.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

To cancel or reschedule a lesson, students must notify the school by email at least 48 hours in advance:

  • Less than 48 hours’ notice: $40 fee + GST

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice: Full lesson fee will be charged

Refund Policy for Lesson Packages

If a student cancels after beginning a package, each completed lesson will be charged at the regular single-lesson rate (not the discounted package rate).

  • Cancellations require 48 hours’ notice

  • Late cancellations (under 48 hours): One lesson fee will be deducted

  • A $40 processing fee applies to all refunds

  • The remaining balance will be returned accordingly

Important Conduct Notice
Aggressive, threatening, or abusive behavior toward instructors or staff will not be tolerated. Service will also be refused to anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol. In such cases, the school reserves the right to cancel lessons with no refund.

Late Arrivals & No-Shows

  • If the instructor arrives at the scheduled location and the student is not present, the lesson is forfeited, with no reschedule or refund.

  • Students arriving more than 15 minutes late will lose that time from their lesson, and the full fee will still apply.

  • Instructors will wait up to 20 minutes. If the student has not arrived by then, the instructor will leave, and the lesson will be marked as a no-show with no refund or reschedule.
