Student safety and road test readiness

At NAS Driving School, the safety of our students and the public is our highest priority.

Before providing a school vehicle for an ICBC road test, NAS Driving School may conduct a pre-test assessment to evaluate the student’s ability to drive safely, independently, and in accordance with applicable road rules.

If the instructor determines, based on the student’s demonstrated driving performance, that the student is not sufficiently prepared to drive safely, NAS Driving School reserves the right to withhold the use of its vehicle for the road test until the necessary skills have been demonstrated.

The instructor will explain the identified areas of concern and may recommend additional driving lessons and a reassessment before the student proceeds with a future road test.

This policy is intended to promote road safety and ensure that students are adequately prepared. Any applicable cancellation, rescheduling, or refund arrangements will be handled in accordance with the school’s disclosed policies and applicable requirements.
